Moving on, I decided a morning workout was necessary today, so I had 1/3 of a big banana before I left. I wished that it were toast, but it wasn't. I think I am going to buy some Ezekiel bread, since it's barely processed and all the ingredients are pronounceable. I also think that it's probably preservative-free, since they sell it frozen?
Breakfast was a no-thought bowl of oatmeal/oat bran, which I love mixing. I added more of my banana, some raspberries, and Whole Foods freshly ground natural PB (I think this stuff needs to thaw before use...). Yum yum.
And coffee + soy + Cool Moose. I had Allison take a picture of me "in my element" for "the people". This is NOT my usual morning face. Usually I look more like the 2nd one.

Morning workouts definitely improve my mood, although usually it just upgrades me from mega-biatch to normalish person at best.
For AM snack I had some watermelon from this fruit salad. I'm saving the rest of the fruit (figs, banana, and raspberries) to eat with my plain Oikos for PM snack. What do you think about plain yogurt? We decided it's fine, since we're saying milk is fine, but it does have bacteria added
to it.
I made another salad for lunch today:
- arugula
- the end of the leftover happy chicken
- tomato
- hard boiled egg
- a little of my blah avocado
- capers
- red onion
- balsamic vinegar
I'm pretty sure the other people in the office are loooving me for being the kid to bring eggs and onions for lunch. Mmmm mmm.

How, you ask, do I have time for all this cooking in the morning? Turns out I don't. I didn't get to the office until 9:30. Oops. But I was still able to get one of my favorite desks, so it's all good.
On the agenda for today: Union Square Farmer's Market after work, dinner with a camp friend at Ethos (I chose it for its unprocessed salad and fish options!), and then trying my hand at homemade granola!
I would also like to figure out how to get 2 photos side by side. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
